Iria Estévez presents her musical project Fado Nordés, a meeting between the “saudades” or songs of longing of the fado tradition, and the Galician poetic songs, the “cantigas”…

Iria Estévez have worked with different musical projects related to fado and World Music...Clave de Fado, and Arifi, (who won the “Burgos Raíz y Evolución Contest” in 1917) since 2011.

Music has healing power, it contains roots, memory, dreams...

With Fado Nordés, we will honour the memory of those emigrants, and the Lisbon that welcomed them and changed their destiny by telling their stories through the meeting of Galician music and fado.

In this globalized world, it is important not to forget our roots. Fado Nordés is a mission and a message to honour those roots and the past, opening up in the present new paths towards the future, with the power of music.
